Uv Laser Marking
Introduction
Our UV Laser Marking uses a cold beam process to engrave clear patterns even on complex surfaces, without melting, cracking, or the need for consumables.
.
Key applications
Medical Devices and Instruments: Permanent etching of UDI codes, batch numbers, and markings onto surgical steel, plastic casings, and silicone.
Precision Electronics and Micromachining: Engraving serial numbers, QR codes, and complex graphics onto precision components such as PCBs, circuit chips, flexible circuits, and ITO coatings.
Product Packaging and Branding: Engraving date codes, batch numbers, and barcodes onto glass bottles, plastic containers, and high-end packaging.
Consumer Goods and Home Appliances: Engraving markings, brand logos, and operating icons onto plastic parts, coated metals, and glass surfaces.
How It Works?
UV Laser Marking uses a 355nm ultraviolet laser beam. The energy is absorbed by the material surface with almost no heat generation. Marking is achieved through "cold ablation," breaking surface molecular bonds or triggering a photochemical reaction.
Benefits
Ultra-miniaturized Precision: Capable of engraving small fonts, complex logos, and micro QR codes, meeting the precision requirements of electronic and medical components.
High-contrast Marking: Dark materials appear bright white, and light materials appear deep black, ensuring clear readability without additional additives or pretreatment.
Non-damaging To Sensitive Materials: Cold light marking eliminates heat-affected zones, preventing melting, cracking, or thermal deformation.
Case Studies: Application Descriptions

Dark Glass Food Bottles: Durable Information Marking
Permanently engraves ingredients, weight, and other details onto dark glass bottles.

White Plastic Plug: Electrical Specification Etching
Precisely marks current (mA) ratings and safety symbols on the plug surface.

White Plastic Parts: Electrical Information Engraving
Permanently engraves key parameters such as voltage and current on device housings.

Black Coated Surface: High-Contrast Data Matrix Marking
The laser removes the top black coating to reveal a bright, high-contrast 2D data matrix code, ideal for durable automotive and electronics part identification.
